How to make a fortune Ezine and Newsletter Marketing Part I

What is an ezine?- Its an electronic magazine sent to poeple who subscribe to it via email. It is delivered to targeted groups. This is huge for targeting ads!

NOTE: You want to find ezines related to your product or service or online business. Make sure you search for ones that are written to attract the target you are focusing on; Online Marketers, MLM, Health Conscience and Fitness

There are two methods when it comes to Ezine Marketing:
1. Free Method- Search google for mlm+ezine or Health+ezine ect.
2. Paid Method- www.directoryofezines[DOT]com $97/year

4 ways to insure your ezine marketing success:

1. Research Ezines for Quality- You must take a look at the amount of readers and types of ads that are in the ezine

2. Copywriting- They must be pulled in and compelled to take action

a. sales ad should be to the point. Not tacky or too salesy. Shot adjitage a frustration that the reads had experienced. Ex: Are you tired of cold calling(MLM)? Are you tired of having high Colesterol (Monavie Pulse)? Are you tired of crashing after drinking an energy drink (Monavie Emv)?

b.Offer a compelling reason or solution to click on link to get to solution. Ex: How would you like to have sustainable natural energy from vitamin B12 and acai berry?

3. Choosing An Ezine- it comes down to 4 key factors

a. Related to Target Audience-Obvious but can be overlooked

b. Budget- ex: “solo ads” can cost $10-$100

c. Number of ads on a weekly or daily basis- too many means your ad will never be seen

d. Quality of Content- most important of the four. It needs to be unique and high quality. As long as you see good quality and there is about 2000 or more subscribers you are in a good place.

4. Subcribe to 15-20 Ezines- This way you will receive a few issues and check out if there are good ads running. You want to create a new email addresss so that the issues are not filling up your regular email.

2 types of ads that you want to utilize in the ezine marketing strategy: Classified ads and Solo/Sponsored ads.

1. Classified Ads- Inexpensive for those who don’t have much of a budget. 4 things to keep in mind with Classified ads

a. 3-5 lines of text. 60-65 characters including headline body and link.

b. The location of the ad will be at the end of the email or in the middle. This makes them good for testing

c. Need a high number of subscribers because of the location they will be less likely to click

d. This also helps you master short copy techniques

2. Solo Ad or Sponsored Ad

a. Top Sponsor Ad- Bread and butter and is included in the newsletter.

b. Middle Sponsor Ad- You have no say in email headline

c. Solo Ad- “The Grandaddy!” Solo Ad by itself you get to write the headline when email is sent to subscriber base. An email is sent by the ezine publisher to the entire mailing list offering only your ad. It costs $50-$75 or more for one email, but its sent separately from their normal mailing schedule.
