10 Steps To Making Hot Videos

This Article will cure this all too common issue for newbies and veterans.
Step 1: Decide on the primary purpose and objective of the video. Do you want to sell a product or service? Is it to educate the audience or product demonstration? It needs to have an overriding purpose or the audience will get confused. Try stating your objective in one sentence Ex: “This video is about how to Use facebook to effectively generate leads for your business”
Step 2: Who is your target market? You want to touch on topics that they would be naturally interested in. Ex: Lead Generation, Top 5 frustrations in MLM, How to determine the quality of a MLM opportunity, Difference in pay plans etc
Step 3: Decide how you will present the topic. Will it be humorous or factual or light-hearted and lively? Will the presenter be on screen or an unseen narrator? You also want to try to have a balance of information and persuasion. You want to present the info in a factual tone as well as pursued the viewer by feelings emotions, and entertainment.
Step 4: Now its time to plan the structure of the video. It must have a beginning middle and end. The beginning should grab peoples attentions. Ask a question, make a bold statement. The middle should balance emotion and facts. Answer the questions and state facts that back it up, and relate to the viewer. The end must always have a call to action! Tell them to opt into your form or click on a link.
Step 5: Work out the best duration of the video by boiling down the essence of the message and conveying that in the shortest possible timeframe. Make sure you are concise and too the point, don’t drag the video on if it is just you saying a message. That would be a 2 min max. If you are taking them on a journey while walking it is easier to keep them engaged so that video can be longer. Also if you are doing a power point the video can last longer. Remember no matter what there is a 10 min max for Youtube.
Step 6: Remember to follow this project through to the end. Keep in mind that you may need to edit the video but don’t continue to put it off. An unfinished video sitting on your desktop doesn’t do you any good. Also remember that the more relevant content you have out there the more perceived and actual value you have.
Step 7: Set a deadline. You should have a time that you want to video completed and uploaded to the video sites.
Step 8: Research and acquire information and element to include in the video. Elements might include artwork, logos, your background and music. Keep in mind the more unique the more engaged people will be.
Step 9: Have some sort of script or outline. If you are not prepared then you will find yourself recording the same video over and over or just having to edit it multiple times. You want to get this done right on the 1st try so that you can upload it ASAP!
Step 10: Time to record. Find a setting that fits the theme of the video and get it done. Make sure there are no distractions like background noise or cars driving by etc.
